Early start from a frosty Hundborg, sun soon up and burning the early morning mist away. Arrived Frederikshavn in good time for the ferry and even had time for a banana followed by some bread and cheese before Heidi had to head back home.
A three and a quarter hour crossing to Gothenburg and the ferry was packed with folk making their way home from their Easter hols; I managed to find a quiet corner and sleep most of the journey.
Not too bad navigating through the town, just a couple of wrong turns before finding the hostel. Time to re-shuffle some of my stuff to even the weight out in the panniers and then bed.
Glad you made ferry and blagged a seat for yourself and a space for your bike on the fast train. Seems like your trip is going to be a series of close shaves and minor adventures. All adds to the experience!
